Thanksgiving in the Pacific North West

Thanksgiving is coming

in just a few days.

The store's low on turkeys

and cranberry glaze.

Snoqualmie is closed

the big trucks aren't moving.

The snow is deep that

plows are slowly removing.

Evergreen trees sway

dropping clumps of wet snow

on children that are sledding

wherever they go.

It is winter time

in the chilly Northwest.

We are gathering our family

and all dressed in our best

to wish you

a most Happy Thanksgiving

no matter where

you're  currently living.
