Brothers

Two brothers glaring eye to eye,

behind each, the family spilt to ally.

All relatives, many billions strong

chose a side, for right or wrong.

War ensued, souls lost and fell

until saints sang "All is Well".

Never did adversity cease,

that brother with Earthly lease.

But, we who continue probation

revere the other to salvation,

and follow his example home

with direction from the family tome.

Aided betimes by prophets sent,

an iron rod that never bent.

All given challenges to progression,

but mercy follows a true confession,

and raises the lowest up celestially high.

Just do your best, and to the Father cry.

From there the brother reaches a hand

and pulls us back- just as planned.
