Drained

A river, without inlet, giving

in time is depleted, and is dead.

Unable to keep or sustain life.

A land, defiled, and drained

of all its natural resources

is in time, a vast global desert.

And as it dies, all upon it

will wither, and cease existance

one species at a time.

Our turn will come.

And human life thriving here

will become extinct.

And as humanity wanes,

death enveloping self awareness

the TREE OF LIFE will fade.

Self knowledge drying

within the taproot

of the universal soul.

The last blink,

of an eye closing

in infinite finality.

1. Prompt -ell me why the tree looks thirsty and dead
