Grilled Cheese cut to angle
on a plate with chips
sits beside tomato soup
in a steamy cup to sip.
Home sick from school,
and off work ill a day
Medicinal lunches cure,
the simple malady.
Mom spit cleanser
to wipe away the germ.
Tomorrow we both go back.
We have to to earn and learn.
